The USA has an excellent reputation, specifically with Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals. It is also the home of Zinfandel, a grape that has been extremely successful in recent years.
US wine production is the highest in the New World and fourth in the world behind France, Italy and Spain. American wine is generally big, rich and juicy and this character has been a hit all across the globe. With regards to terroir, although there are several different regions that produce wine, California is, without question, the USA’s flagship region. Some of the world’s most iconic wine originates here.
The following is a selection of wines, principally from California, designed to reflect different terroirs and styles. As we always want to introduce new and exciting wines to our guests, we’ve also selected some of the most impressive wines from other US regions, for the curious drinker.
